Authority!

Im reading the book of Nehemiah and I’m on chapter 6 and verses 8 and 9 stood out to me…

I replied, “There is no truth in any part of your story. You are making up the whole thing.”

They were just trying to intimidate us, imagining that they could discourage us and stop the work. So I continued the work with even greater determination.

This attitude right here is just straight FIRE!!

yo go Nehemiah with yo bad self!

this attitude, grit, and authority is what I yearn for. This is what we need to be and this is what we need to practice and perfect everyday!

You see, fear is a straight lie. Its intimidation, a trap and an illusion. It wants to stop our hard work, determination or plans. We as soldiers for christ need to take a stand and be like Nehemiah and say ’Nope!!! they’re just trying to intimidate us and discourage us so for that I’m just gonna turn up the bass and do my work with greater determination!!

Yup! I’m gonna press forward. I’m gonna keep going, keep believing, keep trusting, keep walking by faith, keep praying, keep fasting, keep renewing my mind and I’m gonna keep building!

Nehemiah kept building his walls and he even had gaps and he had his people stand in the gaps for him so the enemy couldn’t get in.(Nehemiah 7:2) Do you have some gaps that need to be filled? I sure do and you know what? I can’t do it on my own so thats where my prayer circle comes in. Get your people together, build your tribe and prayer circle to stand in the gaps while you build your wall. Stand in your God given authority and build, walk, believe , speak and trust!

I really advise you to read the book of Nehemiah. It is like a prescription and power dose of faith and authority.

What is an attitude of authority:

It directs. The more you exercises it the more powerful you get. It goes down to your kids when you use it and live it. It assigns things. It has confidence that sticks out! It means to control or manage.

The devil shakes when you know your authority. When you get this, its a wrap! you live the life you always imagined.

I’d really hope this blessed you and I would love to hear your thoughts on this. What are some of your strategy on how you build your wall and stand in your authority?

please share with me 😉

  1. Yes! When Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead. He gave His people the authority to speak life to the dead. Jesus gave us the authority to declare healing, hope, joy, peace, over all our situations. In and through Him all things are possible. Jesus is our strength, He makes us whole. God wants to pray bold prayers. Pray in authority in and through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    I love it cuz!

  3. This was a blessing . Right now I’m in a “what’s next” time in my life and the enemy had a party in my brain recently making me think this is it ❤️ I won’t get to my dream goal . I’m too old my kids are missing out .. it’s too late .. anyway at the end of the day god knows what he’s going to put in your head and he’s ahead of the game and I get a text from a friend that says you’re dream you told me about means you have uncommon favor ❤️ I didn’t get it and she interpreted the dream better than I did . So what this makes me think of is my faith needs to be strengthened when I give the enemy a place in my life in my thoughts . There’s never been a time that god didn’t show off in my life why would he stop now when he’s the one that put that desire and fire in my heart in the first place !!

Love your blog pebbz I’m following you 🤗
